Detroiters (2017-2018)
This American sitcom, which was broadcast for two seasons, was actually one of the most entertaining works of recent years, but for some reason it did not receive the expected attention and the third season could not get approval. Still, the Detroiters, starring Sam Richardson and Tim Robinson, created by Zach Kanin and Joe Kelly, has managed to be a memorable series even with its two-season adventure.

The duo, who are also next-door neighbors, work together at Tim’s father’s advertising agency, and the series tells the fun stories they live in at that agency.
Giri/Haji (2019)
Created and scripted by Joe Barton, Giri/Haji premiered on BBC Two in October 2019 and was released worldwide on Netflix in January 2020.
Starring Takehiro Hira, Kelly Macdonald, Yōsuke Kubozuka, Will Sharpe, Masahiro Motoki, Justin Long, Anna Sawai and Charlie Creed-Miles, Giri/Haji tells a story set in two cities: Tokyo and London. Tokyo detective Kenzo Mori (Hira) travels to London in search of his missing brother Yuto (Kubozuka), who is accused of murder and has ties to the Yakuza.
Mori embarks on the toughest investigation of his life in an unfamiliar city. Although the series received great acclaim with its first season, it was unfortunately canceled by Netflix. However, if you are interested in organized crime, especially Yakuza, you should definitely check out this series.
Enlightened (2011-2012)
Created by American actor and writer Mike White, Enlightened airs on HBO. Despite receiving full marks from the critics, the series fell victim to low ratings and was canceled after the second season. The cast of the series includes names such as Laura Dern, Luke Wilson, Diane Ladd, Sarah Burns, Timm Sharp, Mike White.
The series is about a white-collar woman named Amy Jellicoe (Laura Dern), who, after coming to the brink of psychological collapse, experiences a spiritual enlightenment and tries to put her life back on track through rehabilitation.
Her role as Amy Jellicoe in the comedy drama Enlightened earned Laura Dern a Golden Globe for best actress in the comedy-musical series category in 2012.
Halt and Catch Fire (2014-2017)
Halt and Catch Fire is a period series created by Christopher Cantwell and Christopher C. Rogers, about a very interesting revolution: The computer and internet revolution! In its four-season adventure, Halt and Catch Fire tells the story of fictional people who took part in the technology revolution that started in the 1980s, first personalizing computers and then establishing the global internet network.
Set in the Silicon Valley, the series focuses on the lives of computer engineers at the beginning of the computer and internet era. The lead roles in the series are shared by Lee Pace, Scoot McNairy, Mackenzie Davis, Kerry Bishé, Toby Huss and Aleksa Palladino.
High Maintenance (2012-2020)
High Maintenance, which started as a web series on Vimeo in 2012, transferred to HBO after 6 seasons. The series, which was shown on HBO for 4 seasons, made its final last year.
The comedy High Maintenance, created by Katja Blichfeld and Ben Sinclair, is about the lives of New York residents whose only commonality is a dealer (Ben Sinclair).
The series, which tells various “storylets” instead of sticking to a specific main story, received great acclaim for its drama side as well as comedy. However, for some reason, it did not attract as much attention in our country as it did abroad.
